Roof insulation paint is an advanced and multi-purpose coating designed to protect roof surfaces from moisture, rainfall, UV radiation, and extreme heat. Formulated with elastomeric or acrylic polymers, it forms a seamless, elastic, and durable layer after drying, providing excellent resistance to water penetration and surface cracking.
This paint is not only an effective alternative to traditional insulation systems like bitumen membranes (e.g., isogam), but also offers faster and easier application, reducing both maintenance costs and execution time. Thanks to its solar-reflective properties, it helps reduce rooftop and indoor temperatures in hot seasons, making it an energy-efficient solution as well.
Features & Benefits:
• Strong waterproofing against rain, snow, and moisture
• Flexible and resistant to surface cracks
• Reflects heat and sunlight – ideal for hot climates
• High durability against UV radiation and harsh weather
• Odorless and free of toxic substances (in water-based variants)
• Available in white and blue colors
• Quick and easy application using brush, roller, or spray
• Environmentally friendly
• Excellent adhesion on various surfaces including cement and concrete
Instructions for Use:
1. Clean the surface of any contaminants, peeling paint, or dust before application.
2. Ensure that the surface is completely dry and moisture-free.
3. The application surface must have at least a 5% slope.
4. Sudur should be applied in two layers.
5. Dilute the first layer (primer coat) with 30% water and apply it thoroughly to allow full penetration and prepare the surface for a thicker second coat. Apply the second layer undiluted after the first coat has dried. Wait at least 4 to 5 days between layers.
6. During application and for 24 hours after, the surface and ambient temperature must not fall below +5°C.
7. Avoid applying in strong wind or under direct sunlight.
8. Since this coating is applied in thick layers, any performance testing should be carried out no earlier than one week after application, and the surface should only be exposed to water or moisture after the recommended curing time.
Applications:
• Roofs of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Waterproofing for flat and sloped roofs
• Insulating HVAC ducts and metal rooftops
• Cement, concrete, and mosaic surfaces
